TutorBee policies

Terms of Service

Rules for using TutorBee, including AI limitations, payments, no-refund policy and copyright.

1. Using TutorBee

These terms govern access to TutorBee’s website, app and learning services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Accounts must be created and managed by an adult parent or guardian who is responsible for supervising children’s use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Learning support and AI disclaimer

TutorBee provides supplementary learning support, including explanations, revision, worksheets, quizzes, mock papers and evaluations. It does not guarantee academic results, marks, admission, exam qualification or suitability for every curriculum.

Content is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, inappropriate material or inaccurate grading. Please use your discretion. Check important answers against school material and seek guidance from a parent or teacher. Automated checking and proofreading do not guarantee accuracy. Report issues using the app’s reporting tools or Contact Us.

Olympiad preparation does not include official exam registration. Exam names and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation with TutorBee.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account details, protect your password and Parent PIN, and use the service within your plan’s permitted family access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

Do not upload unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, disclose others’ personal information without authority, harass others, bypass access controls, exploit credits, disrupt the service or scrape it for bulk extraction. Report suspected unauthorized account access promptly.

4. Trials, plans and payments

Prices, applicable taxes, allowances, validity and included features are shown in the plan or checkout flow. Review them before paying. Trial access and credits are limited; unused or expired allowances are not cash and cannot be redeemed for money.

School plans and Olympiad packs may have different balances and validity periods. Purchases are processed through the payment provider. Renewal or recurring-payment arrangements, if offered, must be disclosed and authorized at checkout; these terms alone do not authorize recurring charges.

5. No-refund policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. We do not provide discretionary refunds for change of mind, unused credits, partial use, failure to use a plan, or cancellation before the purchased period ends. Please review the available trial and plan details before purchasing.

Stopping use or closing an account does not automatically refund a purchase. If you encounter a duplicate or incorrect charge, failed activation, or a service problem, contact us with the transaction reference so we can investigate. This policy does not exclude mandatory consumer rights or remedies for deficient services or other circumstances protected by law. Do not send full card details or payment passwords.

6. Referrals and promotional campaigns

Referral rewards apply once, after a new member’s first successfully paid School plan. Apply a friend’s code before starting the first plan checkout. Rewards shown when the referral is accepted are credited to both families after payment verification. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and other abuse are ineligible.

Bonus credits are added to the School family balance and used under the normal plan rules; an active plan is required. The standard 10-credit reward adds 5 explanations and 5 worksheets. Worksheet evaluation is already included for paid plans, not a separate cash or evaluation balance. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to Olympiad balances.

Campaign codes may provide a discount, bonus credits or both. Eligibility, the payment deadline and the final price are shown before payment. Each family may use a campaign code for one checkout; an unfinished campaign checkout must be resumed for the same plan. Referral and campaign bonuses may combine. Complete payment before the deadline. Existing checkout links retain their quoted conditions; editing or pausing a campaign stops new checkouts.

Refunds reverse available promotional credits. Already-used credits are not converted into a cash debt by this reversal. These offer rules do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

8. Uploaded material and sharing

You must have the rights or permissions needed to upload and share material. You retain any rights you hold in your uploads. You grant TutorBee permission to store, process, reproduce and adapt them only as needed to provide the service, generate requested learning resources, maintain the service and carry out sharing choices you authorize.

Do not make copyrighted textbooks or personal information available to a community unless you have the necessary authority. You can report alleged infringement by identifying the material, its location, the rights claimed and your contact details. We may restrict or remove disputed material while reviewing the report.

9. Availability and account restrictions

Features may be affected by maintenance, internet access, AI-provider availability or technical faults. We may update the service and take proportionate action to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or violations of these terms, including restricting or suspending access.

Contact us to request account closure or discuss a restriction. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Changes or discontinuation do not override mandatory rights relating to paid services.

10. Responsibility and applicable law

To the extent permitted by law, TutorBee is not responsible for indirect losses or academic outcomes arising from reliance on generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, warranties or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by Indian law, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence. Contact us first to help resolve a dispute; this does not prevent you from approaching a competent consumer forum, court or other authority.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The updated date appears on this page; material changes will be communicated where required. Changes do not remove rights already accrued under applicable law.

For support, payment concerns, copyright reports or questions about these terms, contact the TutorBee team at shashigupta25@gmail.com or use Contact Us.
