Learning with TutorBee
School learning, guided by you
Learning continues beyond the classroom. A child may understand a topic at school and still need a fresh explanation or a little practice at home. TutorBee helps families use their own study materials to revisit tricky ideas, explore questions and build a regular learning routine that fits into the week.
Start with the actual chapter
Upload the lesson your child is studying and choose their class and subject. TutorBee builds explanations around that material, so practice stays connected to the school lesson. Parents can keep separate profiles for their children and choose which lesson each child works on.
Ask for another way to explain it
A short definition may help one learner; another may need an example or a step-by-step explanation. Ask for simpler language or a different explanation style. Supported explanation languages include English, Hindi, Marathi, French and German. Reopen saved explanations when revising.
Build a simple after-school routine
Choose one idea from the school day to revisit and a few questions to practise. Keep sessions short and give your child time to work through answers independently. Guided explanations, worksheets and revision help families explore tricky topics and see where more support is needed. Check important answers with the lesson or a teacher.
Try it together
A 20-minute after-school routine
Try this family study routine with a chapter your child has already been introduced to.
- Spend five minutes recalling the main idea without looking at the book.
- Use five minutes to revisit one confusing part with a simpler explanation.
- Spend seven minutes answering a few relevant practice questions independently.
- Use the last three minutes to discuss one mistake and choose what to revisit tomorrow.
Questions from parents
How does TutorBee support learning after school?
TutorBee helps children revisit school lessons through explanations, revision and practice based on their study materials. Parents choose what to work on and guide the routine alongside classroom learning.
Can we learn at our own pace?
Yes. TutorBee is a self-paced learning tool managed by parents. Choose a time that suits your family, focus on one topic and return to saved explanations whenever your child needs a refresher.
How can a parent check understanding?
Ask the child to explain the idea in their own words, solve a new example and describe why their answer makes sense. Use worksheet feedback as one input alongside that conversation.
